Frozen Hot Chocolate Recipe

Frozen Hot Chocolate blends melted dark chocolate, sugar, cocoa powder, and coffee with cold milk and ice to create a rich yet chilled chocolate beverage. Blended until smooth, it delivers a creamy texture with deep chocolate flavor, topped with whipped cream and optional garnishes for an indulgent treat served cold.

Description

Frozen Hot Chocolate starts by gently melting dark chocolate with sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, instant coffee, and milk over medium heat to create a smooth chocolate base. This warm mixture is then cooled slightly before combining with additional cold milk, vanilla extract, and ice in a blender. Blending produces a frosty, smooth drink that retains the intensity of dark chocolate flavor combined with subtle coffee notes.

The texture is creamy and thick from the blended ice, balancing sweetness and slight bitterness from dark chocolate. Garnishing with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or other toppings adds layers of richness and presentation appeal.

This chilled chocolate drink is best served immediately to preserve the icy texture and fresh flavors, making it a refreshing alternative to traditional hot chocolate when a cold dessert beverage is desired.
