  • 8 oz white rum gold rum may be used instead
  • 8 oz cream of coconut we use coco real brand
  • 6 oz can pineapple juice
  • 12 oz pineapple frozen chunks
  • 4 cups ice
  • pineapple for garnish, wedges
  • pineapple leaf for garnish
  • maraschino cherries for garnish, with stems

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients (except garnishes) to a blender, in the order they're listed above.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into serving glasses, and garnish as desired.

Notes

  • This recipe yields about 64 ounces, suitable for approximately 4 servings of 16 ounces each.
  • Use Coco Real brand cream of coconut for best flavor and texture.
  • To add a rum float, pour about 1 oz of gold rum on top of each serving after blending.
  • For enhanced coconut flavor, reduce white or gold rum to 5 oz and add 3 oz coconut rum.
