Frozen Potstickers in Air Fryer

This recipe shows how to cook frozen potstickers in an air fryer using just vegetable oil. The result is crispy, evenly browned dumplings with a tender filling. The method uses a short cooking time with a flip halfway, yielding potstickers that maintain their shape and texture without needing to thaw beforehand.

Description

Frozen potstickers, also known as gyoza or dumplings, are tossed lightly in vegetable oil then arranged in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cooking at 180°C for about 7 minutes, the potstickers start to crisp up on one side. Turning them over allows both sides to brown evenly during the additional 4 minutes. The air fryer cooks quickly and crisps the potstickers without the need for oil frying or boiling.

The texture is lightly crispy on the outside with a tender, cooked filling inside. The simple preparation makes this an accessible way to enjoy frozen potstickers with less oil and cleanup than pan frying.

Serve hot from the air fryer with dipping sauces or as a snack or appetizer. Adjust cooking time slightly if you prefer more crispness.
