Fruit Kabobs

Fruit Kabobs arrange assorted fresh fruits skewered in rainbow order, combining sweet and juicy flavors with a variety of textures. The colorful mix includes strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, red grapes, and blackberries. Chilled before serving, these kabobs make a refreshing and easy-to-prepare snack or party appetizer.

Description

Fruit Kabobs are assembled by washing and cutting a variety of fruits into bite-sized pieces, then threading them onto skewers in an appealing rainbow sequence. The fruits used are strawberries (tops removed), cubed cantaloupe and pineapple, peeled and sliced kiwi, red grapes, and blackberries. This variety contributes a balance of sweetness, tang, and different textures ranging from soft to firmer bites.

Once assembled, the kabobs are placed on a platter, covered, and refrigerated until ready to serve. This keeps the fruit fresh and cool for a pleasant eating experience. Their colorful presentation suits casual gatherings, picnics, or as a light and healthy snack.

The notes suggest pairing the kabobs with various dips including fruit dip, caramel apple dip, yogurt fruit dip, Nutella dip, or apple brickle dip, or enhancing with drizzle of honey or chocolate sauce for added flavor. These options provide versatility to customize the serving.
