Funfetti Pancakes Recipe

Funfetti Pancakes are classic fluffy pancakes with a festive twist, incorporating rainbow sprinkles into the batter for bursts of color throughout. The batter uses standard pancake ingredients like flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Cooking on a hot griddle until golden brown creates pancakes with a tender texture and a sweet, lightly vanilla-flavored base complemented by sprinkles.

Description

This Funfetti Pancakes Recipe features a batter made by combining dry ingredients including flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, then mixing with wet ingredients of milk, vegetable oil, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stirring in rainbow sprinkles adds a visually playful touch. Pancakes cook on a greased hot griddle in 4-inch rounds until golden brown, flipping when bubbles form on the surface.

The finished pancakes offer a soft and fluffy texture with the flavor balance of vanilla and sweetness enhanced by sprinkles scattered within. This recipe produces colorful pancakes ideal for celebratory breakfasts or brunches, and serving immediately while hot provides the best taste and texture.

Leftover pancakes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They also freeze well when wrapped in plastic wrap and can be reheated later.
