Garlic Baked Pork Chops

Garlic Baked Pork Chops feature marinated boneless chops baked after searing in garlic butter. The marinade blends olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for flavor. The method gives a browned crust from the skillet and tender, juicy meat finished in the oven. Fresh minced garlic is added while searing, and parsley garnish adds a fresh note.

Description

This recipe starts by marinating pork chops in a mixture of olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper for at least three hours to infuse flavor. The pork chops are seared in a hot cast iron or oven-safe skillet with butter and fresh minced garlic, creating a garlic-infused crust. After browning on both sides, the chops are finished in a 400°F oven until reaching an internal temperature of 145°F, with careful attention to avoid overcooking to maintain juiciness.

The dish finishes with a rest period to keep the juices locked in, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a touch of color and mild herbaceous flavor. The preparation balances a roasted garlic taste with tender pork, suitable for serving alongside various sides.

This method allows the pork to develop a flavorful outer browning while ensuring thorough cooking inside. The use of fresh garlic added in the pan adds a robust aroma and taste that complements the seasoning blend applied during marination.
