Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 1 handful parsley Fresh
  • 5 garlic Crushed
  • 50 g butter Melted
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 100 g cheese Mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Gas mark 4.
  2. Wash and finely chop the parsley – a handful of parsley is approximately 20g, but you can use more or less depending on personal preference.
  3. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the finely chopped parsley along with the olive oil and the melted butter then mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Slice a baguette lengthways or any thick bread down the middle.
  5. Line a baking tray with foil and add the baguettes onto the tray.
  6. Generously spread the garlic butter mixture across the baguette.
  7. Then top with the mozzarella cheese (See Note 1).
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  9. Serve alongside your choice of pasta and enjoy!

Notes

  • Mozzarella is recommended, but cheddar or other cheeses can be substituted based on preference.
  • Serve garlic bread immediately after baking for best texture and flavor.
