Garlic Butter Four Cheese Grilled Cheese is an easy gourmet sandwich stuffed with melty mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, and Parmesan cheeses!

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter , softened
  • 2 cloves garlic , crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 lices thick sandwich bread
  • 4 lices cheddar cheese
  • 4 lices Provolone cheese
  • 4 lices mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese , shredded

Instructions

  1. Add butter, garlic and salt to a small saucepan on low heat.
  2. Melt and stir then let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Brush the bread with melted butter on one side of each piece of bread.
  4. Add 4 slices buttered side down to a griddle or large skillet on medium heat.
  5. Add cheddar cheese, provolone cheese, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add the remaining bread slices, butter side up (away from the rest of the sandwich).
  7. Cook for additional 2 minutes, then flip and cook the second side for 4 minutes, pressing down gently.
