Garlic Butter Sauce Recipe

This Garlic Butter Sauce blends clarified butter with minced garlic, fresh parsley, lemon zest, and kosher salt to create a flavorful condiment. The sauce delivers a fragrant, bright butter base enriched by the sharpness of garlic and citrus notes, ideal for drizzling over vegetables, seafood, or bread. Its smooth texture and balanced seasoning provide a simple way to enhance dishes with a buttery, garlicky taste.

Description

Clarified butter is gently melted and infused with minced garlic, finely chopped flat-leaf parsley, and fresh lemon zest, combining to release aromatic and fresh flavors. Coarse kosher salt rounds out the seasoning, enhancing the sauce's richness without overpowering. The preparation involves cooking the ingredients briefly to meld flavors while avoiding burning the garlic. The sauce is smooth and can be reheated gently if it solidifies due to cooling.

This garlic butter is versatile as a finishing sauce on grilled meats, steamed vegetables, shellfish, or as a dipping sauce for bread. Its bright lemon zest gives it a subtle acidity that contrasts the rich butter while parsley adds an herbal freshness.
