Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

Garlic Cheddar Biscuits an easy, simple drop biscuit recipe made from scratch and packed with tasty garlicky, cheesy flavor. No baking mix!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter frozen and grated, unsalted
  • 1 cup milk whole
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, sharp

To Finish:

  • 4 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons parsley , finely minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and salt.
  3. Add in the butter, milk and cheddar cheese and whisk to combine.
  4. Using a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop, drop the batter onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.
