Garlic Parsley Butter Shrimp

Garlic Parsley Butter Shrimp features jumbo shrimp coated in a paste of butter, fresh garlic, and parsley, baked until juicy and tender. The compound butter infuses the shrimp with rich herbal and garlicky flavors, finished with a squeeze of lemon juice for bright acidity. This method creates a flavorful yet straightforward seafood dish.

Description

This recipe prepares jumbo shrimp coated evenly with a compound butter made from unsalted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. The shrimp are arranged in a skillet covered with the garlic-parsley butter and baked in a hot oven until they turn pink and become hot throughout. The baking method gently cooks the shrimp, preserving their tender texture and allowing the butter mixture to seep into the shrimp for enhanced flavor.

The addition of fresh lemon juice just before serving adds a fresh citrus note that balances the richness of the butter. The shrimp arrive juicy and flavorful with subtle herbal and garlicky undertones, suitable as a simple entrée or appetizer.

Serving immediately after baking ensures the shrimp stay moist and the butter sauce warm. This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the flavorful butter.
