Garlic Tahini Dressing
Description
This dressing is made simply by blending tahini with acidic components — apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice — for brightness and tang. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos provide a salty, soy-like umami flavor without soy sauce's intensity. Nutritional yeast enhances the savory notes, complementing the garlic’s pungency and giving the dressing a subtle cheesy profile. The combination yields a smooth, creamy consistency suitable for salads, bowls, or as a sauce base.
Blending the ingredients ensures a well-emulsified texture with unified flavors. Adjustments such as adding maple syrup can sweeten the dressing slightly if desired. It stores well chilled in an airtight container, maintaining freshness for up to a week.
The dressing's balance of acidity, nuttiness, and umami makes it a versatile dressing to enhance vegetable dishes and grain bowls.
