Ingredients
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 asparagus woody ends removed, bunch
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
- salt to taste, sea salt and freshly cracked
- black pepper to taste, sea salt and freshly cracked
- lemon juice to tastet, splash
Instructions
- Heat ¼ cup of water in a small skillet over medium heat.
- Add the asparagus to the pan and cover it with a lid. Steam the asparagus for 3-4 minutes, or until fork-tender.
- Remove the asparagus and water from the skillet, then add the olive oil.
- Once the olive oil is hot, add the garlic chips and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
- Add the asparagus to the pan, then toss it to coat it evenly; season it with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy.
