Notes

  • Don't worry about a few lumps when combining the wet and dry ingredients; the waffle iron will handle them and they'll actually create little pockets of air that make your waffles fluffy. Every waffle maker has its own personality, so make sure to read and follow its specific instructions. Whether it's preheating, greasing, or cooking times, understanding your waffle maker's preferences is key. Give your waffle iron some time to warm up properly before pouring in the batter. This ensures an even cook and that delightful golden color we all love. Use a ladle or a measuring cup to pour the batter onto the center of the waffle iron. This helps control the amount and prevents overflow, giving you a perfectly shaped waffle. When you close the waffle iron, resist the urge to peek too soon. Wait until the steam subsides and the waffle maker signals it's done. This patience pays off in crisp, golden waffles. Storage - keep leftover cooked waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. There are 9 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
