Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose baking mix Bisquick
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 large egg whites

Instructions
- Whisk together baking mix, brown sugar, cornstarch, and spices in a medium bowl.
- Add milk, molasses, and melted butter to dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
- In a small bowl, whisk egg whites. Whisk until frothy, about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in egg whites to batter. Stir until just combined. Batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes whole you heat your waffle iron.
- Heat the waffle iron and once fully heated, spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add about 3/4 cup of batter per waffle to the make and cook according to manufacturer instructions for the waffle iron.
- This will make about four large 7-inch waffles.
- Serve with maply syrup, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.
