Greek 7 Layer Dip

The Greek 7 Layer Dip combines creamy hummus and tangy Greek yogurt layered with fresh diced cucumber, seeded tomatoes, and red onion. Crumbled feta cheese and sliced Kalamata olives add a salty, briny contrast. The garlic and dill in the yogurt mixture contribute a subtle herbal note, while the lemon juice provides brightness. This chilled appetizer offers a mix of creamy and crisp textures, perfect for scooping with pita or corn chips as a flavorful party dip or snack.

Description

Greek 7 Layer Dip layers classic Mediterranean ingredients in a dish starting with a smooth hummus base and a garlic-dill infused Greek yogurt blend. Freshly diced cucumber and tomatoes bring lightness and crunch, while minced red onion adds a mild sharpness. Crumbled feta cheese introduces a creamy, salty element, complemented by the distinct flavor of sliced Kalamata olives. Each ingredient sits in its own layer, creating visual appeal and varied textures throughout.

The flavors balance between creamy, tangy, herbal, and briny, making it a well-rounded dip. It requires no cooking and serves cold, ideal for gatherings or as a quick appetizer. The recommended accompaniments are whole grain pita or baked corn chips, which add crunch for dipping.

This dip showcases fresh ingredients and straightforward assembly, making it approachable and satisfying for those seeking Mediterranean-inspired flavors at home.
