Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
- 2 cups fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ½ cups French fried onions for topping

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the diced potatoes. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate pot, blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the cooked potatoes and green beans to the mixture, then stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese and French fried onions on top.
- Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the onions are golden and crispy.
