Green Goddess Dressing
Description
This Green Goddess Dressing combines mayonnaise with chopped green onions and basil, providing an herby base. Lemon juice adds acidity, balancing the richness of mayonnaise and sour cream included at the end for creaminess and smooth texture. Garlic and anchovy paste deepen the flavor with savory pungency, while kosher salt and black pepper season throughout. Blending until smooth ensures an even, vibrant sauce that holds well in the refrigerator until use.
The dressing suits salads requiring a creamy, tangy complement, or it can be served as a dip for vegetables or seafood. Its composition highlights fresh herbs and savory umami from anchovies balanced by citrus brightness and creamy textures.
