Grilled Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Grilled Bacon Wrapped Green Beans feature fresh green beans bundled and wrapped in thick-cut bacon, brushed with a steak marinade mixed with brown sugar for a hint of sweetness. Grilling crisps the bacon and lightly chars the beans, enhancing their flavor and texture. Finished with a topping of crumbled bleu cheese, this dish combines smoky, salty, and tangy elements into a flavorful side or appetizer.

Description

This recipe wraps small bundles of fresh green beans in thirds of thick-cut bacon slices, securing each bundle with a toothpick. A marinade made from steak seasoning and brown sugar lends a savory and subtly sweet glaze, applied before and after grilling. The grill heat crisps the bacon while gently cooking the green beans, leaving them tender but still with a slight bite and some charred edges.

The combination of smoky bacon with the fresh crunch of green beans creates a satisfying texture contrast, complemented by the marinade's complex flavors. The final garnish of crumbled bleu cheese adds rich, tangy notes that balance the smoky and sweet elements.

This dish works well as a hearty side or finger food at barbecues and gatherings. It pairs nicely with grilled meats and fresh salads.
