Grilled Cilantro Lime Shrimp
Description
The Grilled Cilantro Lime Shrimp recipe combines fresh cilantro, lime zest and juice, garlic, olive oil, and seasoning to create a flavorful marinade that infuses the shrimp quickly. Using peeled and deveined shrimp allows the marinade to penetrate evenly. The shrimp are then skewered and grilled over medium heat, cooking them swiftly until they turn bright pink and develop slightly charred edges. This cooking technique preserves the shrimp’s tender texture and enhances the fresh citrus and herb flavors.
The resulting shrimp balance the acidity of lime with the herbal brightness of cilantro and the savory depth of garlic. Their texture is juicy and tender with a delicate firmness from grilling. This dish can be served as a stand-alone seafood entrée or added to salads, tacos, or rice bowls to enhance a meal with a lively seafood component.
