Grilled Honey Balsamic Chicken
Description
The Grilled Honey Balsamic Chicken recipe uses a well-rounded seasoning mix applied to the chicken breasts before sealing them in a ziplock bag with half of the honey balsamic sauce mixture. The sauce consists of honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and minced garlic, providing sweetness balanced with acidity and a hint of savory depth. The marinating time of at least 30 minutes allows the flavors to penetrate the chicken.
Grilling the chicken over medium-high heat results in nicely seared pieces with a caramelized exterior from the honey component, while maintaining juiciness inside. The reserved half of the sauce is warmed separately to deglaze a pan and then brushed over the grilled chicken for a concentrated flavor boost and moist finish.
This dish pairs well with grilled vegetables, salads, or rice, serving as a versatile main course for outdoor cooking or casual dinners. Preparing the marinade and seasoning in advance simplifies the cooking process.
