Grilled Honey Sriracha Chicken Thighs Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil or neutral oil
  • cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha or more
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 8 to 10 chicken thigh boneless, skinless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the oil, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and lemon juice.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the chicken thighs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Toss well until the chicken thighs are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Add the honey sriracha mixture to the chicken thighs and set aside in the fridge to marinate for an hour or overnight.
  5. Heat the grill to 400F.
  6. Place the chicken thighs onto the grill, smooth side down. Discard any leftover marinade in the bowl. Grill the chicken thighs on direct heat for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of the thighs, making sure to flip the chicken thighs at the halfway mark. Keep the lid of the grill closed between flipping.
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and allow to rest for at least five minutes before serving. If possible, cover with foil.
