Grilled Peach Salad

Report
Grilled Peach Salad combines lightly charred peach slices with a mix of romaine, spinach, and arugula leaves dressed in honey mustard. Sweetcorn, light feta, and pine nuts add contrasting textures and flavors, balancing the sweet, savory, and peppery elements. Grilling the peaches enhances their natural sweetness and adds a smoky note, making this salad a fresh and flavorful dish suitable as a light meal or side.

Description

This salad features peaches halved and grilled until softened and slightly caramelized, bringing out their sugars and infusing them with a mild smoky flavor. The grilled peaches are sliced and combined with crunchy romaine, tender spinach, and peppery arugula, which have been tossed in a honey mustard dressing providing sweetness and tang. Sweetcorn kernels add bursts of juicy sweetness, while light feta cheese introduces creamy, salty contrast.

To finish, pine nuts sprinkle a delicate crunch atop the salad. The combination creates a well-rounded dish balancing sweet, savory, and fresh components. The salad works well as a refreshing lunch or a side alongside grilled meats or seafood.

Before grilling peaches, ensure the grill or griddle pan is clean to avoid imparting unwanted flavors and well-oiled to prevent sticking. Addition of crisp pancetta or cooked bacon can enhance the salad with smoky, savory notes.
