Who needs a grilled cheese when you can enjoy a warm and toasty Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich? It tastes just like dessert and is easily customizable!

Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 2 slices fresh bakery bread
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp jelly

Instructions

  1. Start by greasing a skillet with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat.
  2. Grab or cut two slices of bread.
  3. Spread peanut butter on one of the slices of bread. Spread strawberry jelly on the other slice.
  4. Then, stick the sandwich together and then give each side of the bread that will be grilled a spritz of cooking spray.
  5. Place the sandwich on the skillet and hear it sizzle.
  6. Let the first side get golden brown before flipping. This should take about 3-4 minutes. Flip & repeat the same thing for the other side.
  7. Slice and serve!

Notes

  • This sandwich is best served fresh. If it's not as warm as you'd like, you can throw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
  • Customize this sandwich however you'd like! Change up the bread, peanut butter texture, type of jelly, or add in some fresh fruit. It will be so delicious!
