Grilled salmon with avocado salsa
Description
This Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa recipe combines spiced salmon fillets rubbed with olive oil and a blend of ground coriander, cumin, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. The salmon is marinated for at least 30 minutes to absorb the seasoning and then grilled until cooked through.
The accompanying salsa features peeled and sliced avocado, finely sliced red onion, diced mild hot peppers, lime juice, olive oil, chopped cilantro, and salt, mixed and chilled to preserve freshness. This salsa adds creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy notes that complement the smoky, seasoned salmon.
Serving suggestions include cilantro and lime-infused rice and fried plantain chips known as patacones. This combination offers contrasting textures and flavors that balance the rich salmon and cool avocado salsa for a satisfying dish.
