Grilled Salmon with Strawberry Jalapeño Salsa

Grilled Salmon with Strawberry Jalapeño Salsa pairs tender, simply seasoned salmon fillets with a fresh salsa combining sweet strawberries, spicy jalapeño, and sharp red onion. The salsa’s lime juice and cilantro add brightness and herbal notes, contrasting the rich grilled fish. This combination results in a balanced dish featuring smoky, juicy salmon enhanced by a fruity and mildly spicy topping.

Description

This recipe involves grilling salmon fillets seasoned with salt and pepper over medium-high heat until cooked through, achieving a lightly charred exterior and moist, flaky interior. The accompanying salsa is made from diced fresh strawberries, finely chopped jalapeño (with seeds and veins removed to moderate heat), chopped cilantro leaves, red onion, fresh lime juice, and seasoning. Mixing these ingredients creates a vibrant, sweet, and slightly spicy salsa that brightens the rich salmon.

Serving the grilled salmon topped with the salsa delivers diverse textures and flavors, suitable for a light main dish especially in warmer seasons.
