Grilled Shrimp Foil Packet

Report
Grilled Shrimp Foil Packet cooks peeled shrimp with butter, lemon juice, garlic, and chopped parsley sealed in foil on a hot grill. The shrimp steam in their own juices with herb-infused butter, resulting in tender, juicy seafood with a subtle citrus and garlic flavor. This foil packet method simplifies grilling and cleanup while delivering fresh, flavorful shrimp.

Description

This recipe starts by placing peeled and deveined raw shrimp on a large piece of aluminum foil. The shrimp are topped with small pieces of butter, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped parsley before sealing the foil to form a packet.

Grilled over medium-high heat at around 400°F, the foil packet traps steam that gently cooks the shrimp evenly while blending the butter, lemon, garlic, and herb flavors. The shrimp turn pink and opaque, indicating doneness in about 8 to 10 minutes. This method keeps the shrimp moist with a delicate citrus and garlic aroma.

The grilled shrimp can be served directly from the foil or removed to be part of a larger meal, such as alongside rice or salad. The foil packet technique offers an easy way to prepare seafood with minimal mess and infuses the shrimp with bright, herbaceous notes.

Any leftover cooked shrimp should be refrigerated and consumed within three days to ensure safety and freshness.
