  • 2 pounds Shrimp peeled and deveined, extra large or jumbo size
  • 8 tablespoons butter melted
  • lemon about 2 tablespoons of juice and however much zest you can get from the lemon, zest and juice of 1
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or 2 tablespoons fresh herbs finely chopped, or Herbs de Provence

Instructions

  1. Oil and preheat grill to medium-high. Skewer the shrimp onto metal or wooden skewers (if using wooden, be sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes before to keep them from burning).
  2. Stir together melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic and herbs (fresh or dried).
  3. Brush both sides of the shrimp with butter sauce. Save any remaining sauce for later
  4. Grill shrimp 4-6 minutes on each side until completely pink and starting to brown just slightly.
  5. Drizzle remaining lemon butter mixture over the shrimp and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
