Grilled Spicy Lime Shrimp with Creamy Avocado Cilantro Sauce
Description
Grilled Spicy Lime Shrimp with Creamy Avocado Cilantro Sauce showcases peeled and deveined shrimp marinated in a mixture of lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and red pepper flakes. The marinade imparts a vibrant citrusy heat that enhances the natural sweetness of the shrimp. After marinating, the shrimp are threaded onto skewers and grilled for about two minutes on each side until opaque and slightly charred, ensuring a juicy interior.
The accompanying avocado cilantro sauce combines ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic, and fresh cilantro blended until smooth. This cool and creamy sauce offers a refreshing counterpoint to the spiciness of the grilled shrimp, introducing herbal brightness and a smooth texture that complements the shrimp’s charred exterior.
Serve the shrimp hot off the grill with the avocado cilantro sauce on the side for dipping. This pairing works well as a light entrée or as a flavorful appetizer. The lime and chili marinade can be adjusted to taste for spiciness, and the sauce allows easy customization with salt and pepper seasoning.

- The avocado cilantro sauce can be adjusted with lime juice and seasonings to balance creaminess and acidity.
- Serve immediately after grilling for best texture and flavor contrast with the sauce.
- Use fresh ingredients for the sauce for a brighter and more vibrant taste.
