Grilled Spinach
Report
Grilling spinach is a super simple way to serve up a healthy side - and quickly! All you need is a sheet pan, aluminum foil, and a few choice seasonings!
Share:
Ingredients
- 10 ounces baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or canola oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2-3 dashes cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (by turning the burners of your propane grill to medium heat).
- Add spinach to a large sheet pan. Drizzle the spinach with oil (olive or canola).
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper (optional) over the spinach.
- Toss to combine. You want to keep tossing until the oil and seasonings are fairly evenly distributed, but don’t worry about coating every leaf.
- Put the sheet pan of spinach on the grill and cover. Cook for 3-4 minutes and immediately remove from the grill.
- Serve immediately. If you leave the foil covering the spinach it will continue to cook, so I recommend uncovering and serving immediately.
