Ingredients

Servings
  • 48 mini pretzels
  • 12 oft caramels
  • 1 cup Candy Melts vibrant green
  • ¼ cup Candy Melts Kelly Green color
  • Sprinkles heart shaped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Lay 24 pretzels out on the baking sheets in a single layer and not touching.
  3. Unwrap caramels and cut each one in half then place half a caramel on each pretzel on the baking sheets.
  4. Bake in the oven until caramels are soft, about 5 minutes.
  5. Once caramels are soft, remove the baking sheets from the oven and quickly place another pretzel on top of each caramel and press slightly so that they stick together. Allow to cool completely.
  6. While caramel pretzels are cooling, melt your candy melts either in the microwave for 30 second increments or using a double boiler on the stove. Mix continuously until melted and smooth.
  7. Dip cooled pretzels into melted candy until 2/3 of the pretzel is covered, return to baking sheet. Immediately place a heart shaped sprinkle in the middle while the chocolate is still soft.
  8. Let the dipped pretzels cool completely before serving and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to five days before discarding.
  • Switch it up. Instead of doing Grinch snacks, switch up the colors and try Valentine’s Day pretzel bites (pink candy melts and hearts), St. Patrick’s Day with green candy melts and rainbow sprinkles.
