Gyoza Dipping Sauce

This easy and homemade gyoza dipping sauce takes minutes to make and is full of savory, light flavor for any juicy dumplings.

Ingredients
- 2 2 tbsp Regular soy sauce
- 2 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 2 tbsp sake
- 2 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ ¼ tsp Japanese chili oil la-yu or ra-yu, add more if you like spicy

Instructions
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 2 tbsp regular soy sauce, 2 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp sake, and 2 tsp granulated sugar.
- Stir and cook until the sugar dissolves, about 1-2 minutes. Do not let it come to a boil.
- Remove the pan from heat and place in a heat-safe bowl. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Add the 2 tbsp rice vinegar and ¼ tsp Japanese chili oil.
- Stir until combined. Pour into individual dipping bowls and serve.
