Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 lb chicken breast shredded
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1-2 cup buffalo sauce varies based on spice preference
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ lb mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 1 tube writing gel black

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine shredded chicken and buffalo sauce in a large plastic bag. Mix until all chicken coated with buffalo sauce.
  3. Spread cream cheese on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish
  4. Add buffalo chicken in a single layer on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Pour ranch dressing on top of the buffalo chicken, don’t mix in.
  6. Use cookie cutter to cut out ghost shapes from cheese slices.
  7. Top chicken mixture with ghost cheese, making sure to not overlap ghosts.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Use writing gel to draw eyes and mouth on all the ghosts.
  10. Serve warm with chips, bread, crackers, and veggies.

Notes

  • The smaller the chicken is shredded, the easier the dip is to eat.
  • Place hot chicken into a stand mixer then turn it onto low and it will shred the chicken for you.
  • Using BBQ sauce instead of buffalo is a great way to make it for kids.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Reheat in an oven at 350 degrees until the chicken is warm. You can also place it in the microwave for smaller portions.
