Ham and Cheese Crustless Quiche Recipe

This Ham and Cheese Crustless Quiche combines cooked ham, sautéed onions, and steamed broccoli in an egg and heavy cream custard, topped with cheddar cheese. Baked without a crust, it offers a soft, savory texture with pockets of ham flavor and tender vegetables. The dish suits breakfast, brunch, or light dinners, and can be prepared ahead for convenient serving.

Description

Ham and Cheese Crustless Quiche Recipe features diced, cooked ham and onions sautéed in butter, combined with broccoli steamed to a tender state. These ingredients are layered in a greased pie plate and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. A custard of whisked eggs and heavy cream is poured over the filling before baking.

Baked at 375°F for about 35 minutes, the quiche sets to a firm center without shaking, ensuring a tender yet structured texture. The absence of a crust shifts focus to the creamy custard and salty, savory components from the ham and cheese. Broccoli adds a vegetable element with mild bite.

This quiche serves well as a versatile dish for breakfast, brunch, or light meals. It can be sliced for individual portions and pairs well with fresh salad sides. The recipe can be prepped the night before; withhold baking until ready to cook for freshness.
