Ham and Cheese Rollups

Ham and Cheese Rollups layer thinly sliced deli ham and cheese inside large flour tortillas spread with a creamy ranch-seasoned cream cheese and mayonnaise mixture. Rolled tightly and sliced into pinwheels, this snack or appetizer showcases a smooth, savory filling paired with soft tortilla wrappers. It offers a make-ahead cold option that keeps well refrigerated and can be frozen for extended storage, making it convenient for parties or lunches.

Description

Ham and Cheese Rollups assemble 5 large flour tortillas with a filling made from softened cream cheese combined with mayonnaise and ranch dressing mix. The mixture is spread evenly over each tortilla, then layers of thinly sliced ham and cheese (such as Colby jack or American) are added in alternating layers. Each tortilla is rolled tightly and sliced into half-inch thick pieces to make pinwheel-shaped slices. These rollups are served cold and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For longer storage, they freeze well if layered with parchment paper and stored in freezer-safe containers. Thawing is recommended in the refrigerator overnight before serving. Keeping the tortillas wrapped tightly before slicing also helps retain freshness and prevents sogginess. The combination of ranch-seasoned cream cheese, ham, and cheese provides a creamy, savory snack with familiar deli flavors.

This recipe yields 8-10 slices per tortilla and is best served the same day it is prepared for optimal texture but can be refrigerated or frozen for later use.

Reheating is usually unnecessary; however, if warmed, microwave or oven heating should be brief to avoid melting the cheese too much or drying out the tortilla.
