Ham Tetrazzini

Ham Tetrazzini is a creamy pasta casserole featuring spaghetti, cooked ham, cheddar cheese, and a savory cream of chicken soup sauce enhanced with onions, garlic, roasted red peppers, and fresh parsley. The mixture is gently heated until the cheese melts and the flavors meld, creating a comforting and cheesy dish. This recipe yields a dish with tender pasta coated in a smooth, cheesy sauce accented by flavorful ham and vegetables, suitable for a hearty meal.

Description

Ham Tetrazzini combines cooked spaghetti with diced ham and cheddar cheese in a creamy sauce made from cream of chicken soup, butter, onion, and garlic. The butter-softened onions and brief garlic sauté develop depth before adding the condensed soup and water, creating a rich sauce. Mixing in roasted red peppers and fresh parsley adds brightness and subtle sweetness to the dish.

The casserole is gently cooked until the cheese fully melts and the ingredients are evenly incorporated and heated through. The resulting dish offers a tender pasta texture enveloped in a creamy, slightly tangy sauce punctuated by the savory ham cubes and mild sweetness from the peppers and herbs.

This baked pasta recipe is suitable for a family meal or casual gathering, serving well as a satisfying main course or alongside a simple salad or steamed vegetables to balance its richness.
