Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni Recipe

Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni is a skillet dish featuring seasoned ground beef cooked with macaroni pasta in a tomato-based sauce, finished with cream and sharp cheddar cheese. The resulting meal is creamy and cheesy with tender pasta and flavorful beef, making it a hearty, comforting dish suitable for an easy weeknight dinner.

Description

This recipe begins by browning ground beef seasoned with salt and black pepper. After cooking, spices such as paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and sugar are mixed into the beef along with tomato paste, creating a rich, seasoned base. Macaroni elbows and beef broth are then added and brought to a boil. The dish simmers covered until the pasta is just al dente and the broth is almost absorbed, ensuring the pasta absorbs beef flavors while remaining tender.

After removing the lid, heavy cream and shredded sharp cheddar cheese are stirred in, melting into a smooth and creamy sauce that coats the pasta and beef. This final step adds richness and cheesy depth to the dish. The dish is served hot and provides a comforting balance of savory beef, gooey cheese, and tender pasta in one pan.
