Hamburger Stroganoff Recipe
Description
This Hamburger Stroganoff Recipe uses ground beef browned until no longer pink, then thickened with flour and flavored with garlic powder. Beef broth is added to create a rich base, followed by folding in sour cream to form a creamy sauce. The mixture is served hot over egg noodles cooked separately to tender perfection.
The resulting sauce has a smooth and slightly tangy consistency with a balance of savory beef flavor and the richness of sour cream. The garlic seasoning adds warmth without overpowering the dish. Cooking options include stove-top preparation with quick simmering or a low and slow method in a crock pot, allowing flavors to meld during an extended cook time.
This stroganoff makes a filling comfort food suitable for lunch or dinner. Serving it over noodles allows the sauce to coat each bite, offering both protein and carbohydrates in one dish. The recipe is straightforward and uses commonly found ingredients.
