  • 16 ounces macaroni pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 carrot peeled and shredded
  • 5 green onions thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mayonnaise Hellman’s or Best Foods Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta based on the pasta instructions to al dente.  Drain the pasta.  Rinse with water.
  2. Place in a large mixing bowl.  Pour the vinegar on top and toss in the carrots and onions.  Set aside to cool.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, milk and sugar.
  4. Pour the dressing mixture over the pasta salad.  Gently toss to coat the ingredients with the dressing.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (you can refrigerate overnight).  Stir before serving and serve cold.  Enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days to maintain freshness.
  • Chill the salad for at least two hours before serving to develop flavor and texture.
