Healthy Banana Bread Recipe

This Healthy Banana Bread is made with mashed ripe bananas, coconut oil, and Greek yogurt to create moist loaves with whole wheat flour and natural sweetener for a health-conscious twist. The addition of vanilla extract complements the banana flavor, while baking soda and salt provide leavening and balance. Baked in mini loaf pans, the batter produces small, individually portioned breads with tender crumb and a lightly browned top. It's a wholesome option for a snack or breakfast treat.

Description

The recipe for Healthy Banana Bread combines mashed ripe bananas with coconut oil and Truvia baking blend sweetener. Eggs and Greek yogurt are mixed in to add richness and moisture. Vanilla extract enhances the banana flavor. Dry ingredients include white whole wheat flour, salt, and baking soda, which are combined with the wet ingredients to form a batter. The batter is divided into greased mini loaf pans and baked at 350°F for about 30 minutes until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean from the center. These mini loaves offer a healthier alternative to traditional banana bread, with reduced sugar and added protein from Greek yogurt.
