Ingredients

  • 16 ounces water filtered

Fruit of your choice, washed

  • strawberry halved
  • watermelon or any other melons, cut in chunks
  • pineapple fresh, cut in chunks
  • jalapeno pepper sliced
  • citrus fruit sliced, no need to peel
  • stone fruit such as peaches or plums, cut in wedges
  • cucumber sliced

Herbs and whole spices of your choice

  • mint leaves
  • basil
  • cinnamon stick
  • clove whole
  • cardamom pods
  • star anise
  • ginger fresh

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass container with water and add the fruit and/or herbs and spices of your choice. Refer to the post for suggested combinations.
  2. Let the water infuse for at least an hour or up to 24 hours, in the refrigerator. Strain and serve.
