Healthy Guacamole (with Frozen Peas)

Healthy Guacamole with Frozen Peas blends creamy avocado and sweet peas with fresh lime juice, tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro for a refreshing twist on traditional guacamole. The peas add a subtle sweetness and vibrant color, while the mix of fresh herbs and spices balances the flavors. This guacamole is great as a dip alongside raw vegetables or tortilla chips, suitable for casual snacking or party appetizers.

Description

This guacamole variation incorporates slightly thawed frozen peas blended smooth in a food processor, which adds a mild sweetness and bright green color to the usually avocado-based dip. After pureeing the peas, they are combined with lime juice, diced tomatoes, red onion, minced jalapeño, fresh cilantro, garlic, and sea salt to bring layers of fresh, tangy, and spicy flavors.

The avocado is then mashed into this mixture, creating a creamy texture with bursts of chunky ingredients from the vegetables and herbs. The lime juice not only adds brightness but also helps preserve the green color. The fresh jalapeño and garlic give the dip a subtle kick without overpowering the natural flavors of avocado and peas.

This guacamole is served chilled with an assortment of raw vegetables or tortilla chips, making it an adaptable dip for gatherings, snacks, or light meals. The combination of peas and avocado offers a nutritious component that blends sweetness, creaminess, and freshness in every bite.
