Instructions

  1. Blend: Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding ice as needed to reach a consistency to your liking. If you want a slightly green smoothie, add a few leaves of fresh spinach.
  2. Serve: To garnish (optional), rub lime juice around the rim of the glass, then roll it in crushed graham cracker crumbs. Pour in the smoothie and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make it More Creamy: For an even creamier smoothie, replace 2 tablespoons of the yogurt with cream cheese.
  • Add Color: To give this key lime pie inspired smoothie more green color, add a few leaves of fresh spinach. The spinach flavor is undetectable and it makes this smoothie even more fun!
  • Swap with Lemon: This recipe also works great with fresh lemon juice and zest!
  • Make Popsicles: In the mood for popsicles? Add a touch more honey, then freeze the mixture into homemade popsicles!
  • Storage: Smoothies are best enjoyed the day of, but you can freeze leftovers in ice cube trays and then reblend with some milk the next day. Pop them out of the ice cube tray once frozen and transfer them to an airtight container. They will keep for 3 months in the freezer.
