Healthy Protein-Powder Cookie Dough (In 5 Minutes!)

This Protein-Powder Cookie Dough recipe mixes protein powder, coconut flour, and applesauce into a soft, fluffy dough studded with mini chocolate chips. It offers a quick no-bake treat with a mild vanilla and buttery flavor, enjoyed best fresh or lightly chilled, and provides a protein-rich snack alternative with a cookie dough texture.

Description

The Healthy Protein-Powder Cookie Dough blends vanilla-flavored protein powder and coconut flour with unsweetened applesauce, almond milk, and optional butter extract to achieve a soft, fluffy dough consistency. A pinch of salt enhances the flavor, while mini chocolate chips add sweetness and a contrasting bite.

This dough is mixed thoroughly but not baked, retaining a moist and creamy texture akin to traditional cookie dough. The flavor is subtly vanilla with a mild buttery note from the extract when included. It can be eaten immediately for a tender consistency or chilled briefly to firm it slightly.

Because the dough dries out over time, it is recommended to consume it soon after preparation. Protein powder quantities may need adjustment based on brand differences to reach the desired consistency and taste. This recipe offers a quick way to enjoy a sweet, protein-enriched treat without baking.

  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour 6 grams
  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon butter extract optional but recommended
  • 1/2 tablespoon mini chocolate chips dairy free

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the protein, coconut flour and sea salt.
  2. Add in the applesauce, almond mil and butter extract. Stir until fluffy and mixed.  Stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. DEVOUR right away, or chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes!

  • Protein powder measurements can vary by brand; adjust amount to achieve desired texture and flavor.
  • Best consumed immediately to avoid drying out; chilling for 10-15 minutes firms the dough slightly.
