Notes
- The kind of protein powder you choose will make a difference to the texture and flavor of the edible brownie batter.
- Likewise, this recipe uses vegan protein powder which absorbs a lot of liquid. If you swap to a whey protein, know that the brownie batter won’t be as thick.
- Make sure the butter is melted before adding it into the batter so that it mixes evenly.
- Any non-dairy yogurt should work for the protein brownie batter. Just don’t use a “Greek-style” yogurt as it’ll be too thick.
- Cocoa powder works in place of cacao.
- As is, the recipe is sweet but not too sweet (and it will depend a bit on your protein powder). If you have a sweet tooth, add in ½ tbs of cane sugar to the mixture.
- Make the recipe to eat immediately as it does not store in the fridge (it gets too hard and crusty).
- Makes one dip size portion or three small servings
