High Protein Scrambled Eggs with Cottage Cheese

This high-protein scrambled eggs recipe incorporates cottage cheese into whisked eggs, producing a creamy texture and added richness. The eggs are cooked slowly over medium-low heat to maintain softness and create gentle folds for a tender bite. Seasoned simply with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, it's a straightforward way to boost protein in breakfast or any meal.

Description

Combining large eggs with cottage cheese before cooking results in scrambled eggs that are moist and slightly creamy without being runny. The mixture is gently cooked in a nonstick pan sprayed with olive oil, ensuring soft curds form without overcooking. The folding technique used during cooking helps develop tender folds rather than dry, crumbly eggs.

This method offers a nutritious option by incorporating cottage cheese, which contributes protein and moisture, changing the usual scrambled egg texture. It is lightly seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper to enhance the natural flavors.

These eggs can be served alone or accompanied by toast, vegetables, or other breakfast favorites. The gentle cooking over medium-low heat helps retain a delicate, moist consistency suitable for those preferring soft scrambled eggs.
