Ingredients

Servings
  • 3 cups almonds skin on, whole
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F. Place the almonds on a baking sheet and toast for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
  2. Transfer the warm almonds from the baking sheet into a food processor fitted with the metal blade along with the salt.
  3. Blend until a smooth homogeneous paste forms, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. It could take up to 10 minutes depending on your food processor.

Notes

  • Storage: Store the homemade almond butter in the pantry for up to one month. Or store it in the refrigerator for up to 6 months. If you prefer warm almond butter and go through it quickly, you can store it in the pantry. For ultimate safety, always refrigerate.
