Description

  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • black pepper to taste, freshly ground
  • 2 egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Do not overmix! 
  3. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and form a ball in your hands. Place meatballs on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat for all the meat. 
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees.

Notes

  • Store leftover cooked meatballs in an airtight, microwave-safe container in the fridge for up to four days.
  • For freezing, form meatballs first then freeze unbaked for up to six months before baking for best freshness.
  • You can also freeze cooked meatballs, but they are freshest when eaten immediately after baking.
