Homemade Chili's Cajun Chicken Pasta
Description
Homemade Chili's Cajun Chicken Pasta starts with chicken breasts rubbed with Cajun seasoning and sautéed until cooked through. The pasta is cooked separately and drained. The sauce is made by melting butter and sautéing diced onions and minced garlic, then whisking in heavy cream, lemon zest, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese until thickened. Seasoning with salt and pepper is adjusted to taste.
The cooked pasta and chicken are plated together and topped with the creamy, tangy sauce. Garnishes including diced Roma tomatoes, chopped parsley, green onions, and shredded Parmesan cheese provide color, fresh flavor, and a slight crunch. The dish balances spicy seasoning on the chicken with the richness and acidity of the sauce components.
This pasta makes a balanced entrée suitable for dinner, combining protein and starch with a flavorful creamy sauce and fresh garnishes that brighten the dish.
