Homemade Coffee Creamer
Description
This Homemade Coffee Creamer recipe includes two main parts: making the creamer itself and preparing homemade condensed milk. The creamer blends condensed milk with milk, maple syrup for sweetness, arrowroot powder as a thickener, and vanilla for flavor. It's heated gently while whisking to thicken slightly before cooling.
Homemade condensed milk is created by soaking milk with raisins overnight, then straining out the raisins. Various flavorings can be added to adjust the taste profile, such as cinnamon and almond extracts for a Cinnamon Strudel version, or cocoa powder and peppermint for Chocolate Mint. The creamer yields a customizable, dairy-based liquid suitable for enhancing coffee at home.
It is recommended to store the creamer refrigerated in a sealed container and shake before use. The recipe encourages experimentation with ingredient ratios for personal taste preferences.
